Battlefields Trip 2017

Our year 9 students returned from a trip to the Battlefields.

They visited the trenches, Ypres, Bruges and laid a wreath at the Menin Gate.

Each student was also tasked with finding the memorial place or grave of a soldier who shared their own surname. For some students this meant actually finding and remembering a member of their own family who had served in the war.

We were very proud of the respectful conduct of all of our students on this trip.
