Year 8 Spanish news

Year 8 Spanish students studied ‘El día de los muertos’ (the Day of the Dead) and created traditional altars in recent lessons. Miss Britt, our Head of MFL, sent some of their wonderful work on the to the Director of the Mexico Tourism Board in the UK, Mr V Salas.

He has replied to say that he had shared the work with his Tourism Minister and was thoroughly impressed and glad to see that Mexican traditions and culture are becoming popular in other countries in the world.

Mr Salas told us that the Mexican leader, President Peña Nieto, will also see the work this week, which we are thrilled about!
