Applying for a Year 7 place in our September 2026 intake
Please see below, Thamesmead School’s Admission Arrangements for Oversubscription Criteria for September 2026.
If you are applying for your child to enter Thamesmead school under the Performing Arts criterion (Music/Drama), please complete the Performing Arts supplementary application form below and return it to us by 12 noon on Friday 10th October 2025 at the latest. Aptitude tests will take place on Tuesday 14th October 2025 for Drama and on Wednesday 15th October 2025 for Music. For more information, please see the Performing Arts Information sheet below.
If you are applying for your child to enter Thamesmead School under the Child of Staff criterion, please complete the Staff supplementary application form below and return it to us by Friday 24th October 2025 at the latest (before half term).
IMPORTANT: ALL applicants must complete the Local Authority Application Form by 31st October 2025

In-Year Admissions to Thamesmead 2025-2026
If you wish to make an in-year application to Thamesmead, please complete and return the In-Year SMA application form (below) to the Admissions Officer. You must return this along with at least two documents providing proof of address, as requested at Question 2h in the application form.
Forms can be returned to: Admissions Officer, Thamesmead School, Manygate Lane, Shepperton TW17 9EE, or admissions@thamesmead.surrey.sch.uk
Please can we request that electronic copies are scanned in to be returned as one complete document.
