Apprenticeships & Work Experience

Apprenticeships are training-centred routes and are available in a vast range of sectors. Typically you will be in a work place most of the time, though there is an element of study which is often (not always) taught at a college. Most apprenticeships pay a small wage and have good working conditions attached to them. There are a range of apprenticeship opportunites that become available throughout the year either via specialised apprenticeship providers, Government websites or directly with individual companies. If there is a particular employer that you would like an apprenticeship with, it is definitely worth contacting them directly to see if they offer this.
