Rotary Youth Speaks Competition

Are you interested in:

  • working in a team to have a debate on a public platform?
  • getting involved in a fun community event to win prizes
  • the opportunity of learning and practising high standards of expression, presentation and appearance

If successful in the local heats you move on to district competitions and the district final

The Competition will be hosted by Spelthorne Borough Council in the Council Chambers, Knowle Green, Staines TW18 1XB

As in previous years, there are two competitions:

The Intermediate Competition for students who will be aged 11 to 13 years on the 31st August 2023

The Senior competition for students who will be aged 14 to 17 years, again on the 31st August 2023

The Intermediate Competition will be on Thursday 25th January 2024 at 6pm

The Senior Competition will be on Thursday 1st February 2024 at 6pm

The entry forms and a copy of the Rules and Guidelines are at the links below. Entry forms must be signed by parents and given to Mr North before Monday 13th November
