Investors In Careers Award

We are delighted to have been awarded the Investors in Careers award again, one of only two schools in the Borough who meet the national Quality in Careers Standard (QiCS)

In her report the assessor said

‘The school is committed to maintaining quality in CEIAG (Careers Education Information and Guidance) and has held a quality award for many years. The school has continued to improve and develop CEIAG provision since the last IiC reassessment in 2012. There is a whole school approach and commitment to CEIAG and work-related learning. Raising aspirations is a key objective and the school’s willingness to innovate and develop learning opportunities for students is exemplified by its partnerships with local employers and the continuing offer of one week’s work experience to all students in year 10.’
