Surrey Schools Athletic Championships
Catherine Blandford competed in the 800m at the Surrey Schools Athletic Championships on 9th June. She came 4th in her heat and achieved a massive new PB of 2.33.78. Her previous best was 2.37.50.
Georgia Russell won the shot in a new Championship record (since 1976!) of 11.93m. She’s competing for Surrey next weekend. She has also been selected to represent Surrey at the English Schools in Birmingham on Friday 13th July and Saturday 14th July this is an amazing achievement.

It was a very hot and exciting weekend at the English Schools Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
Georgia Russell came 4th in the Under15 Girls Shot which is an amazing achievement. Congratulations to her!
